Satya Dharma Sudjana Junior High School, in collaboration with PT GMP Health Centre, held a health screening program for all students at the school’s hall on August 5, 2025.
This initiative reflects a commitment to caring for students’ health. A total of 444 students participated in the screening, which covered several basic health aspects, including height and weight measurement to assess Body Mass Index (BMI) — useful for detecting symptoms of obesity or underweight.

Students also underwent posture checks, particularly early detection of scoliosis, eye examinations to identify vision problems such as nearsightedness, ear examinations including ear canal hygiene and detection of cerumen (earwax) blockage, as well as nail and hair inspections to assess cleanliness and identify minor health issues.

The results revealed several important findings, including a number of students with significant earwax buildup requiring further treatment. Meanwhile, some students with nearsightedness were advised to undergo further examinations at PT GMP Health Centre.

The program received positive feedback from both the school and parents, as an effort for early detection of health issues that could affect students’ learning process. It is expected that the results of this screening will raise collective awareness of the importance of maintaining health from an early age.
