PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) provided Drilled Well assistance to the Tiyuh Gunung Menanti community, Tumidjajar District, Central Lampung Regency on July 12 2024. The process of making this drilled well took 1 month, from June to July 2024. The drilled well was handed over directly by PT GMP, namely Mr Basir and Mr Susanto were well received by the Head of Tiyuh Gunung Menanti, Mr Heriyanto.
“Water is a basic human need, so this assistance is eagerly awaited by our community,” concluded the head of Tiyuh Gunung Waiting. Drilled wells are a public facility for the community, especially when the dry season arrives. We hope that in the dry season, residents will not have difficulty finding clean water to meet their needs, said Mr Heriyanto
GMP provides assistance with drilled wells on the basis of implementing the 6th pillar of SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals), namely ensuring the availability and proper management of water and sanitation. Indirectly, clean water assistance is one of the interventions in reducing stunting rates in Indonesia
