As part of its commitment to community health and its dedication to growing together with the surrounding communities, PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) once again organized a Mass Circumcision Program from 18–22 June 2026. This year’s program was held at three locations: Gunung Batin Udik Village and Terbanggi Ilir Village in Central Lampung Regency, as well as Panjang District in Bandar Lampung City. A total of 190 children participated in the program, which received an enthusiastic response from the local communities. For the implementation of the program, GMP collaborated with the Health Centre Gunung Madu medical team for the activities in Gunung Batin Udik Village and Terbanggi Ilir Village. Meanwhile, the program in Panjang District was conducted in partnership with the Takmir (Mosque Management Committee) of Jami Nurul Iman Mosque.

PT Gunung Madu Plantations Services Manager, Iwan Kurniawan, S.T., stated that the Mass Circumcision Program reflects the company’s commitment to supporting public health. “GMP believes that the company’s success is inseparable from the support of the communities surrounding its operations. Therefore, we continuously strive to contribute through various initiatives that provide tangible benefits, including in the healthcare sector. Through this Mass Circumcision Program, we hope to assist local families while supporting children’s healthy growth and helping them become more confident,” said Iwan.

Iwan also expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by the community toward the company’s operations and requested their prayers and support for a successful 2026 sugarcane harvesting and milling season.

“As we enter the 2026 harvesting and milling season, we sincerely ask for the prayers and support of the community so that all operational activities can be carried out safely, smoothly, and successfully. We hope that the company’s achievements will continue to generate positive benefits for the community and contribute to regional development,” he added. As a company that grows alongside the communities it serves, GMP remains committed to implementing a wide range of social responsibility programs aimed at improving people’s quality of life, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic and social empowerment. Through its annual Mass Circumcision Program, the company hopes to continue making meaningful contributions while strengthening its longstanding relationship with communities in and around its operational and community development areas.
