PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the form of a mass circumcision for 107 children from the Terusan Nunyai District area. This activity, which is part of the 50th anniversary celebration of PT GMP, was held at two locations:
- Gunung Batin Baru Village Hall, covering the areas of Gunung Batin Baru, Gunung Batin Udik, and Gunung Batin Ilir, on June 24, 2025, with 54 children participating.
- Tanjung Anom Village Hall, covering the areas of Tanjung Anom, Bandar Sakti, and Bandar Agung, on June 26, 2025, with 53 children participating.
Kepala Kampung Tanjung Anom , Wasis Trisno Hadi, expressed his appreciation for PT GMP’s contribution in supporting the community through various social initiatives. “PT Gunung Madu Plantations has provided many benefits to the surrounding residents, especially through community-focused activities like this. We feel greatly supported and cared for,” said Wasis in his remarks.

Meanwhile, Iwan Kurniawan, S.T., Head of the Services Department at PT GMP, stated that the mass circumcision is a reflection of the company’s concern for the health and well-being of the community.“In addition to improving the health of children, this activity also helps ease the financial burden on families. It is part of the company’s social commitment, with benefits that can be directly felt,” he said.
Luberto Fabioca, S.E., M.M., Head of Terusan Nunyai District, was also present and expressed his hope that the community would take full advantage of the program “We appreciate PT GMP’s care and concern. Positive initiatives like this are very meaningful, especially for families in need. We hope the collaboration between the company and local government continues to grow,” he stated.
In addition to the circumcision procedure, the participating children also received gift packages and tokens of appreciation as a gesture of care from the company. This activity serves as clear evidence that the presence of PT Gunung Madu Plantations brings not only economic impact, but also significant social benefits to the surrounding communities.
