Bandar Mataram, February 10, 2025 – PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP), through its social program Gunung Madu Peduli, has once again demonstrated its commitment to education and community health by conducting eye examinations and providing free eyeglasses to 30 students of SMAN 1 Bandar Mataram. The event took place in the assembly hall of SMAN 1 Bandar Mataram.
This initiative began with eye examinations conducted on January 15 in the school’s assembly hall by medical professionals from Optik Modern. It was then followed by the distribution of eyeglasses tailored to each recipient’s vision condition.
The Principal of SMAN 1 Bandar Mataram, Yuliana Setyowati, expressed her appreciation to PT GMP, emphasizing that this free eyeglasses program is highly valuable and beneficial for students, as it supports their learning process. One of the students who received a pair of eyeglasses shared their gratitude, saying, “Now I can see more clearly while studying. Thank you, PT Gunung Madu Plantations!”
Through the Gunung Madu Peduli program, PT Gunung Madu Plantations remains committed to contributing to the community through various social initiatives that benefit education and healthcare in the surrounding areas.
