On September 8 2024, GMP, assisted by health workers from the Gunung Madu Health Center Clinic, held a free health check at the SMP Negeri 3 Canal Nunyai Field, Bandar Agung Village, Terusan Nunyai District. A total of 215 participants from surrounding villages such as Kampung Bandar Agung, Lempuyang Bandar, Gunung Agung, Bandar Sakti, and Tanjung Anom, participated.
The coordinator of Gunung Madu Cares for Health, Agung Santoso, said that health checks include tests for cholesterol, uric acid, blood sugar and health consultation services. The main aim of this activity is to help people maintain and detect health problems early. This activity begins with morning exercise to increase enthusiasm and togetherness. This activity is part of GMP’s commitment and contribution to improving the quality of life of the surrounding community and efforts to educate healthy lifestyles.
This health examination is part of PT Gunung Madu Plantations’ efforts to provide company awareness in improving the quality of life of the community, especially in the area around the company. The people who attended were very enthusiastic about taking part in this activity and hope that similar activities can continue to be carried out regularly.
