GM Peduli Holds Free Health Check-ups for 445 Residents of Kampung Tanjung Anom
Demonstrating its commitment to the health of communities surrounding its operational areas, PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) conducted a community health check-up event through its "Gunung Madu Peduli" (GM Cares) program. The event took place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Tanjung Anom Village Hall in Terusan Nunyai District, Central Lampung Regency. A total of 445 residents of Tanjung Anom Village participated in the health check-up, which aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining health and to facilitate the early detection of various disease risk factors.
The event began with a group exercise session, in which the community participated enthusiastically. Afterward, participants underwent a series of health checks, including screenings for cholesterol, uric acid, blood sugar, and blood pressure. Following the screenings, participants had the opportunity to consult directly with doctors regarding their results and individual health conditions. As part of the event, residents also received vitamins to support their ongoing health.
The event was attended by Iwan Kurniawan, Head of Department Services at PT Gunung Madu Plantations, and Wasis Trisno Hadi, the Head of Tanjung Anom Village. In his remarks, Iwan Kurniawan stated that the health check-up event was a tangible expression of the company's concern for the community, particularly in encouraging awareness of the importance of regular health screenings. He noted that health is a crucial factor in supporting the community's quality of life and productivity. Consequently, the company remains committed to implementing various programs that deliver real benefits to the communities surrounding GMP's operational areas.
