As part of its “Gunung Madu Peduli” (Gunung Madu Cares) initiative, PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) awarded academic achievement scholarships to 97 outstanding students in the Bandar Mataram District, Central Lampung Regency. The award ceremony took place on August 12, 2026, at the SMAN 1 Bandar Mataram Hall. Recipients were drawn from SMPN 1 Bandar Mataram, SMPN 2 Bandar Mataram, and SMAN 1 Bandar Mataram. This scholarship program serves as a token of the company’s appreciation for students who have demonstrated academic excellence and achieved success in their education.
Under the program, students who secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place received support in the form of cash and educational supplies, such as school bags and other necessary equipment. This assistance aims to motivate the students while supporting their needs throughout their educational journey.
